Lisa Harris is a candidate who believes Louisville’s best days are ahead. She is dedicated to reshaping and shifting the narrative—proving that all areas of Louisville can Be Great. Dr. Lisa “Holliday” Harris brings a lifetime of service, leadership, and real-world experience to her candidacy for Mayor of Louisville.
She earned an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from Bauder College in Atlanta, pursuing excellence as a Kitchen and Bath designer while developing an eye for functional, people-centered spaces. He

She earned an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from Bauder College in Atlanta, pursuing excellence as a Kitchen and Bath designer while developing an eye for functional, people-centered spaces. Her professional background reflects both creativity and discipline—qualities she carries into public service.
In 2017, Lisa founded Fox Advocates, an organization dedicated to advocating for disabled veterans and first-time felons, serving as a resource navigator for individuals and families seeking pathways to stability, restoration, and self-sufficiency within their communities.
Lisa pursued Political Science studies at the University of Arizona Global Campus, later choosing to pause degree completion to continue full-time missionary work. Her calling to service led her across East Africa and the Caribbean, where she devoted years to faith-based outreach, education, and community development.
In recognition of her lifelong dedication to mission work and Christian education, Lisa received an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Education from the School of the Great Commission Bible College in Columbia, South Carolina. She is an ordained pastor with Warrior For Christ Ministries in Miami, Florida, and has served as a Paracletos Counselor, offering guidance, advocacy, and spiritual care to individuals in crisis.
Her commitment to service extends into civic leadership. Lisa currently serves on the Metro Commission for Persons with Disabilities and acts as an advisory board member for two nonprofit organizations, working to ensure policy decisions reflect compassion, accessibility, and accountability.
Lisa’s life experience—spanning business, ministry, advocacy, transportation, and government advisory roles—has grounded her leadership in truth, resilience, and results. She understands the struggles of working families, veterans, caregivers, and small business owners because she has walked alongside them.
She is not running for recognition—
She is running to work.
And she is ready to work for YOU.
